FAQ (plain English)

If you don’t know the difference between hosting, domains, and web design — you’re normal. Here’s the quick version.

What’s the difference between a domain and hosting?

Your domain is your address (like yourbusiness.com). Hosting is the server where your website files live. You can buy them from the same place or separate — I’ll help either way.

Do I have to move off Squarespace/Wix/WordPress?

No. If your current setup is fine, we can improve what you have. If it’s holding you back (speed, costs, limitations, security), then we’ll talk about switching.

What does “maintenance” actually mean?

Keeping things updated, secure, backed up, and working — plus making small content changes so your site stays current.

Can I update my own site?

Yes. Some builds are designed so you can update simple content yourself. Or you can just text me changes — whichever you prefer.

How long does a typical site take?

Simple sites can move quickly once we have your logo/photos/text. More pages and custom features take longer. I’ll give you a realistic timeline after the initial chat.

Do you work with individuals too?

Absolutely — portfolios, personal sites, artists, resumes, landing pages, and small projects that still need to look professional.
